About the event
Dress for Success is an event put on each year by Hospitality students at Grand Valley State University. This event is a fashion show promoting professional business clothes and how to Dress for Succes for an interview. This year, Dress for Success was held in the Grand River Room of Kirkhof, on the Allendale campus. The event began at 4:00pm and ended at 5:45pm.
This is a free event for all Grand Valley students where they can come and win prizes, speak with professional vendors, get free food & beverages, and free gently used business attire. Getting free professional attire allows students to begin their professional wardrobe without having to spend a lot of money.
The fashion show inlcudes models showing their best professional wear, where they purchased it, and how much it costs. The fashion show is a fun way to teach students how they should be dressing for interviews and upcoming professional careers.
